Heroes...... When we hear the word "hero", the first thing that come into our mind is someone who saves lives and perform brave deeds.

For me, she is a a hero. She can be the ordinary person I live with. But she has the strength and power that I need whenever I ask for it. In times of sadness, she always lend her hands and shoulder when I have a problem. She is always there for me to listen and understand. Giving advices and words of wisdom that can help me to overcome that challenges. She never left be behind. She is the person that gives color to my life. She is the only person I can talk to about anything. She is my star that lightens up my darkest time and I know she is a good model to people around her. Without her, my life would be incomplete. She is the one who gives meaning to my life. She have the characteristics of a hero that what makes her mine. I am blessed that I have her in my life and she is the best thing I could ever ask for.

A hero, who is willing to share some of her time to you. The one that walk among us through our journey. And because in this world, we are together. Someone like her is a gift that paints a smile in my heart. It gives memories that will stay in me not for a while but for a lifetime. No words can explain how happy I am to have someone like her. Proudly PINOY!

The Filipino language is the language of the islands of the Philippines. It serves as an instrument to every Filipinos from different provinces that has its own culture and traditions differing understood. Here we reflected our history that every word we mention or speak warms our sense of nationalism. Also because this language strengthened the sense of nationalism among Filipinos. Although neither strong it is, it also fight regionalism- served as barriers to becoming a nation we are. Therefore, this instrument Filipino Language we having the mentality of being "a people".

We see his important role in the development of our country because here we understand the main aspects to the development of the country. No development country without strong language. The language reflects our freedom. If no language, no freedom as well as if there is no freedom, we will continue bound in the chains of poverty. The Filipino language is ours, and for us only. By doing this, we understand our needs and unnecessary. This bridge not only in understanding each island but the development of the city. Poverty is suppressed only if we understand this and are in the condition and no other instrument to do this but the use of language FILIPINO.

My Reflection

This grading period, sometimes I felt nothing. Because there are only few days that we met our teacher. We can't discuss our lesson well because she is busy sometimes. She has many responsibilities to do. Still, there's a lessons and advantages that I have learned. Internet, is a million of interconnected computer that shows information an communicate through the use of satellite, phone lines and fiber optic cables to transfer data back and forth. The major components which are the web browser and web server and their differences. 1960-1957's, Sputnik launch. In 1994, Philippines connects to the internet. I also learn and knows about Blog and also its types.

In our daily life, there's always a problem to encounter. This grading period makes me feel like nothing. We haven't enough time to meet our teacher. The other lessons that we should learn and understand more had not taken so all we need is to copy and write. One problem, sometimes our work station steaks. And my big problem is when there is another blog again to do, I always asks myself on how will I start and begin it.
Because in this kind of writings, I have a weakness in making this such things. This challenges me so much. All I should do is to acquaint myself in doing and writing this.

Moving On..... I will do my best to the next grading period. No matter what blog could be, I will do well and good. And no matter what problem it is, life goes on. I won't give up. :)

PNOY: SONA for Success!

All of us Filpinos wish to feel the warmth of success. PNOY delivered again his another SONA or State of the Nation Address that can be a way to get what we are wishing. It is common that every SONA, president always make promises. "Promises are the uniquely human way of ordering the future, making it predictable and reliable to the extent that is humanly possible.

SONA.... This year were focused on the achievements of the government on his term such as approval of the Sin Tax Reform Law and "Responsible Parenthood Law"
(RH Law), Reforms in Education System (K-12), Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Increase in number of  Tesda Graduates, Increase in Philhealth Enrolles from 62% to 81% and improved benefits, Allocation of P6.2 billion for flood control in Metro Manila, Completion of 9, 377 housing units for typhoon Sendong victims, 63% Reduction in number of Private Armed Groups, 21.4 increase in foreign tourist arrivals in 2012 and 7.8 % GDP (Gross Domestic Product).

However, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for 2012 and various economic reform programs of Aquino government for his three years in the palace, Philippines is still has the worst unemployment rate in Asia. More than 11 million Filipinos are jobless according to SWS and IBON Foundation survey results on the first quarter of 2013.
I salute PNOY. We all know that there are problems abound in the government and those problems are taking their toll on our society. The problems will be there always unless if we'll take the initiative to solve them, even in our humble way. I hope PNOY will be able to deliver to his promises.

Letter to the President

Ilocos Sur National High School,
Heritage City of Vigan, Ilocos Sur
June 26,2013

Dear Mr. President,

Greeting!

President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III or famously known as “Noynoy” has been a president for almost three years. In this three years, Filipinos all over the world can’t resist to ask questions on how he leads our country, the Philippines.

In some other parts of our country, many places are in the remote areas that have no permanent classrooms because of the place where they live. Because of that I write this letter to request more and continue the project of building a classrooms so that they can learn.

Whenever there were typhoons or rain will enter to our country, they can easily go to the nearest school and they can't suffer in crossing the rivers for sacrificing only having a knowledge to learn.

Even though they have no comfortable place to learn, they sacrifice and pushes their selves to go even if they can't concentrate well.

It's because they want to learn and achieve their goals or dreams to become successful. Because they think that poverty is not the obstacle or hindrance for learning.
In the way of writing, I think that even only in a little and simple way, I can help them.

To God be the Glory!

Respectfully yours,

Armina Joy Manigbas
